This drawing is one of Janet’s contributions to The Bunker Creative art collective’s Mugshot Project, born of one artist’s vast collection of decades-old police mugshots. The owner of this treasure trove of artistic inspiration periodically delivers each artist a mugshot photograph, with the subject’s actual identity and arrest details obscured. The artist invents a story about why the subject was arrested, and the story inspires a piece of artwork.
