To optimize production and get you your prints quickly, Janet ships most of her prints directly from her printer, and therefore, they include a digital signature in her handwriting. If you would prefer to have Janet hand sign your print with a drawing pencil, she’d be happy to accommodate you. Hand-signing requires extra shipping and handling, hence the additional $20 fee.
All original works are hand-signed at no additional charge.
Notecards are unsigned. They include Janet’s branding on the back of the card.
A gallery-wrapped canvas print or painting is one in which the image continues on the side of the canvas. It is meant to give the piece a finished look so it can be hung without framing. Of course, you are welcome to frame the piece if that is what you prefer.
Yes. Janet adds watermarks to her web images in an effort to protect her copyright. The watermark is not included on any work customers purchase.
Prints are made-to-order. Digitally signed prints typically ship within a day or two. Janet can get most original artwork and prints to you in about two weeks’ time, but she cannot guarantee this. If you need an item by a certain date, please let Janet know, and she’ll do whatever she can to make it happen or let you know if she doesn’t think it’s possible. You will receive tracking information when the order ships. International orders take longer.
Most out-of-stock items are original works. Janet offers prints of some of these, and if that’s not the case, it’s possible she could produce one. You also could ask her about commissioning a similar piece of original artwork. Please reach out on her contact page.
Janet offers refunds or exchanges for artwork returned in undamaged condition. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs.
The Bunker Creative is a zany collective of artists that meets weekly in Maplewood, New Jersey, for figure drawing. These sessions – and the Bunker’s fabulous figure models – are where Janet gets the inspiration for a lot of her drawings. The Bunker occasionally hires its models to pose for live community drawing sessions. Watch Janet’s home page for upcoming events. The Bunker’s artists would love to have you draw with them.
Janet’s original marker drawings are not for sale in her online store because marker is not lightfast. If you are interested in purchasing an original anyway, please contact Janet.
